Job Description:
The selectee will serve as a Statistician in the Office of
Strategy, Planning, and Innovation, Enterprise Analytics Division.
Typical work assignments include: - Plans and coordinates
comprehensive quantitative studies on highly sensitive, significant
issues by investigating analysis objectives and determining
appropriate criteria and methods. - Supports the evaluation of
alternatives by providing input on criteria, conducting feasibility
studies for new offices, optimizing office locations based on
workload and population, and preparing statistical reports on
mission performance. - Leads the creation and implementation of
statistically valid data collection tools and systems and analyzes
agency operations to define data and reporting requirements. -
Independently designs and leads advanced statistical studies using
innovative modeling and simulation tools to assess agency
initiatives, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and
resolution of statistical issues. - Prepares correspondence and
briefings for varied audiences and represents the agency at

Statistician position starts at a salary of $102,415.00, GS-12,
step 1, with promotion potential to $158,322.00, GS-13 step 10.
