Job Description Job Description Data and AI Champion – TS/SCI CI Poly Department: Government Customer - Bethesda Location: Bethesda, MD ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE WITH CI POLY REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION TENICA is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data and AI Champion to support the Chief AI Officer (CAIO) and Chief Data Officer (CDO) for a funded Intelligence Community (IC) program. This position focuses on task management, workforce upskilling, and promoting the adoption of AI and Data best practices within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, leadership qualities, and the ability to guide and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Familiarity with AI and Data concepts is required, and technical expertise can be developed on the job. Primary Responsibilities: Task and Deliverable Management Assist in managing and coordinating team tasking, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and presentation-ready work products for government stakeholders. Track progress, prioritize tasks, and contribute to meeting deadlines aligned with CAIO/CDO objectives. Workforce Upskilling and Development Support the design and implementation of plans to upskill the customer workforce on AI and Data-related capabilities. Research and recommend training resources, learning opportunities, and skill development strategies. Workforce Adoption of AI and Data Practices Contribute to the development and execution of strategies that facilitate adoption of AI tools, technologies, and Data best practices. Promote workforce engagement and successful integration of AI and Data practices into customer operations. Collaboration and Team Engagement Serve as a reliable and supportive teammate, providing guidance and ensuring alignment of efforts with broader mission objectives. Exhibit strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to foster effective communication and teamwork. Stakeholder Support Collaborate with government customers and stakeholders to ensure deliverables and initiatives align with mission needs. Assist in preparing briefings, updates, and documentation for customer leadership. Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Education and Experience Requirements: Associate Degree 10 years relevant experience Bachelor’s Degree 8 years relevant experience Master’s Degree 6 years relevant experience PhD 4 years relevant experience Strong task management and organizational skills, including attention to detail and high-quality deliverables. Familiarity with AI and Data concepts, including large language models (LLMs), their capabilities, and data analytics. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to team success. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, provide leadership, and offer guidance within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a government or Intelligence Community (IC) setting. Familiarity with organizational change management and workforce transformation initiatives. Ability to learn new technical concepts (AI tools, data frameworks) as part of on-the-job development. Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) or related disciplines are a plus.
