Must haves:

3-5 years minimum data center experience (could be tier 2, shift lead)

At least 2 years? project management experience

Strong Unix/Linux experience

Some Cisco familiarity

Pluses:

4 year College Degree

Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance or above

Day to Day:

The position will be responsible for 6 total direct reports, inclusive of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Shift Lead Technicians. They will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and finalizing projects according to specifications and deadlines, all while keeping the projects within budget. The goal is for this to be a 100% management role, but the individual must be strong enough technically to be hands-on when necessary. The position leads custom service excellence and will be responsible for coordinating short term and long term projects with an aim to exceeding expectations and constantly enhancing process. This includes identifying routine tasks that are eligible for automation and difficult tasks that need to be escalated to ensure an excellent experience for customers (both internal and external).
