Systems Administrator 2
Start: Immediate Location: FtMeade, MD/ Laurel, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI & FS Poly
Salary: 160K to 180K w/ benefits plus bonus Role Summary:
Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is requiredBachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFive (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
CWIP Level I required at start; Level II required within 6 months.
Role Description: This SA2 should be well versed in SSP Management process to include addressing and meeting milestones contained within respective POA&Ms to achieve ATO and/or StE/StN complianceAdditionally, will be responsible for the overall health and status of all systems to include patching and updatesA strong understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF)) and System Security Plan (SSP) Management is requiredPosition requirements: 1) Overall SSP Management (StE/StN, POA&M, ATO, RMF)
2) Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices Linux systems administration experience - must be comfortable with command line, troubleshooting
3) Configure and manage UNIX, Linux, Windows and Virtual (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
4) Health / Status Maintenance of SSP / Systems (Patching, Updates, etc.) Desired skills: 1) Linux systems administration
2) System administration experience
3) Ability to work independently/self-motivated
4) SSP Management, ATO and RMF experience
