Job Description:

MedStar Health seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our home care team in Prince George's County on a PRN basis. This position offers the opportunity to bring rehabilitative care directly to patients' homes, facilitating recovery and independence in a familiar setting. Engage in personalized patient care plans that prioritize health, comfort, and swift recovery. Assess patient condition by examining muscle strength, mobility, and other motor functions. Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals. Implement physical therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and reduce pain. Educate patients and families on the rehabilitation process and aftercare. Document patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a home care setting. Proficiency with physical therapy equipment and techniques. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Maryland. CPR certification.
