In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing patient nutrition needs, developing personalized meal plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure holistic recovery tailored to each patient's medical conditions and recovery goals. You will play a crucial part in improving patient well-being through your expertise in nutrition based on the latest scientific research. Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling. Consult with physicians and healthcare personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients. Monitor patient outcomes and adjust meal plans as needed. Educate patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and food selection and preparation. Coordinate nutritional care services with other healthcare professionals as part of the overall treatment plan. Stay informed on the latest research and trends in nutrition that may affect patient care. Professional knowledge of nutrition and dietary planning Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is required. Licensed Dietitian status in the state of Pennsylvania is preferred.
