Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes through integrated care. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient nutritional needs, developing personalized nutrition plans, and educating patients and their families on healthy eating habits. This position requires a strong understanding of dietary management and its impact on recovery and long-term health. Conduct nutritional assessments to identify patient needs and dietary restrictions. Create, implement, and monitor individualized meal plans for patients. Educate patients and their families on proper nutritional habits that align with their medical needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate dietary plans with overall medical care. Monitor patient progress and adjust meal plans as necessary. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations concerning dietary services. Strong understanding of nutritional science and diet management Excellent communication and educational skills Proficient in dietary planning software and tools Adept at working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration Licensed Dietitian (LD) status in the state of employment, if applicable
