Job Description Job Description Rheumatology Associates of Baltimore, LLC Rheumatology Associates of Baltimore (RAB) is seeking a full-time Infusion Registered Nurse for immediate hire in a busy outpatient infusion center. Position Summary The Infusion RN provides direct clinical care to patients receiving biologic and specialty infusion therapies in an ambulatory setting. This role requires strong IV access skills, clinical autonomy, and adherence to established protocols, with on-site support from Nurse Practitioners and Physicians. The RN works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant infusion operations. This is a full-time position (35–40 hours per week) . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Initiate and manage IV access and administer infusion therapies per physician orders and clinical protocols Perform medication preparation, including dosage calculations and reconstitution Monitor patients before, during, and after infusions; assess for adverse reactions and intervene appropriately Document clinical care accurately and in accordance with regulatory and practice standards Coordinate care within a shared patient treatment environment to maintain patient flow and operational efficiency Collaborate with nursing, advanced practice providers, physicians, and administrative teams to support clinical and operational requirements Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to patient safety, outcomes, and cost-effective care delivery Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in IV access and infusion therapy techniques Ability to work independently while following established clinical guidelines Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills Effective communication within a multidisciplinary clinical team Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate degree required; BSN preferred) Active Maryland Registered Nurse license (required) Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred Prior ambulatory or outpatient infusion experience preferred, but not required Compensation and Benefits Hourly range: $43 - $53 per hour 401(k) with employer matching Health insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Free parking Practice Overview Rheumatology Associates of Baltimore is a high-volume fast paced rheumatology practice with an integrated outpatient infusion center providing infusion therapies across Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Dermatology, Allergy & Asthma, and Ophthalmology. Infusions are administered Monday through Friday . Nursing responsibilities are dedicated exclusively to infusion services and patient scheduling.
