Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
support a high school setting in Alexandria, VA. This contract
position runs through the current school year, ending May 29, 2025,
with options for full-time or part-time hours. Ideal candidates
will possess skills and experience in the following areas:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language
Pathology Experience in school-based SLP services, particularly in
a high school environment Familiarity with pediatric populations
and pediatric healthcare settings Completion of Clinical Fellowship
Year (CFY) or equivalent experience Ability to implement
individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with
educators and families Key responsibilities include: Conducting
comprehensive speech and language evaluations Developing and
delivering targeted intervention plans for students Monitoring and
documenting progress in compliance with state and federal
regulations Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support
student communication needs Participating in professional
development and maintaining licensure requirements Location:
