Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Orientation and Mobility or Special Education, Certification as a
Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS), and 1 years
Orientation and Mobility Specialist experience required. Applicants
who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for an experienced Orientation and Mobility
Specialist (OMS) to support multiple K-12 school districts across
Greene and Washington Counties in Pennsylvania. This full-time,
onsite contract position extends through June 16, 2026, providing
comprehensive services to students requiring guidance in
orientation and mobility. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized
orientation and mobility instruction to K-12 students across
various school districts Assess and develop individualized mobility
plans that empower student independence and safety Collaborate with
educators, families, and related service providers to integrate
mobility goals into broader educational programs Travel regularly
between assigned district sites to provide consistent support and
intervention Maintain accurate documentation and communication
regarding student progress and service delivery Qualifications:
Active Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) license required
Proven experience working with children and adolescents in
educational settings Strong knowledge of orientation and mobility
techniques and assistive technology Ability to manage multiple
caseloads and coordinate services effectively across locations
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between district
sites Location: Greene County and Washington County, Pennsylvania
Hours: Full-time, approximately 35-37.5 hours per week This role
