Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 08/04/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – EP Lab Facility: WellSpan York Hospital Location: 1001 S George St, York, PA 17403 Start Date: 08/04/2025 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Open Positions: 1 Contract Type: Travel Assignment Unit: Cardiac Cath & EP Lab Shift Options: - 5x8s (06:00 AM – 2:00 PM) - 4x10s (06:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Must be flexible to stay until last patient is cared for Job Summary: WellSpan York Hospital’s Invasive Cardiology Unit is a high-volume cardiac care center completing over 6,000 procedures annually. The department includes: - 4 dedicated Cardiac Cath Labs - 3 dedicated Electrophysiology Labs - 2 hybrid labs (Cath/EP) - 29 prep/recovery bays This role requires experience in both Electrophysiology (EP) and Cardiac Cath Lab nursing. You will assist with advanced cardiovascular procedures including: Electrophysiology Procedures: - Cardiac Ablation - Pacemaker/ICD Insertion - Cardioversion - Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure Cath Lab Procedures: - ASD Closures - PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions) - TAVR - Lead extraction/removal - Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Insertion - ECMO support - Pulmonary studies & embolization Minimum Requirements: - Experience: 2 years in EP or Cath Lab - Certifications: BLS & ACLS (AHA/ARC only) - EMR: EPIC (Required) - Travel Experience: Not required - Must be comfortable with caring for COVID patients, if needed - Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility Pay package can be customized based on your specific needs and preferences.
