Positions are available across multiple locations and shifts including Full-Time and PRN opportunities in the following counties/service areas in Northern Virginia:* Arlington County* Fairfax County* Loudoun County* Prince William County* Alexandria City_Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience._ _We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation. _*Featured Benefits:** *Committed to Team Member Health: *offering medical, dental and vision coverage, and a robust team member wellness program.* *Retirement: *Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions starting on your first day.* *Tuition and Student Loan Assistance: *offeringup to $5,250 per year in education assistance and up to $10,000 for student loans.* *Mental Health Support: *offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost.* *Work/Life Balance: *offeringpaid time off, paid parental leave, flexible work schedules, and remote and hybrid career opportunities*.*.*Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:** Documents the results of evaluations clearly and completely by including all essential elements according to department policy.* Completes daily progress notes that reflect patients' responses to treatment, actual performance, and an assessment as to status relevant to the treatment plan in addition to eventual discharge needs and treatment summaries if needed.* Completes discharge notes that include a summary of the course of treatment, progress toward goals, discharge needs, recommendations for follow-up and patient and/or family education.* Documents clearly, concisely and legibly within established timeframes (e.g. allows other therapists to continue treatment, allows for interpretation by payers, supports reimbursements).* Documents evidence of patient and family/caregiver education.* Contacts families, physicians or other healthcare team members in anticipation of special needs of the patients or families in a timely manner to facilitate effective treatment plans.* Provides educational materials and methods appropriate to the patient's level of understanding and motivation and includes families/caregivers in education and training.*Physical Therapist Additional Requirements:*Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start (Thru the American Heart Association)Licensure - Virginia licensureExperience - Not required. 1 year in similar setting preferredEducation - Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy, Masters preferred*About Us:*We are Inova, Northern Virginias leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
