*Job Responsibilities:*
* Explains procedures to patients/families and answers any questions to ease anxiety and ensure patient cooperation.
* Serves as a department reference for obtaining optimal imaging for interpretation/identification of anomalies within Maternal Fetal patients.
* Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Maternal-Fetal imaging principles/theory, anatomy, and pathology processes while utilizing the most appropriate technique and/or positioning for optimal examinations.
* Reports basic technical issues, team member relation issues, and/or customer issues related to staff performance, scheduling conflicts, equipment downtime, and behavioral issues to the Business Operations Manager.
* Demonstrates the ability to recognize clinical and/or emergent problems within Maternal Fetal patients that may interfere with exams and takes appropriate action to resolve them while producing the most desirable outcome.

*Job Requirements:*
* *Work schedule:* Monday - Friday
* *Education: *High School Diploma or Equivalent; Degree from Accredited Sonography Training Program
* *Licensure:* American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Registration.
* *Certification: *Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association. Successful completion of the Inova Nuchal Translucency (NT) Program is required within 6 months for team members without the Nuchal Translucency Certification.
* *Experience*: Eight years of recent hospital experience or equivalent in a Maternal Fetal Medicine Group.

Pay: $48.51 - $79.07 per hour
