We believe that our greatest strength draws on the different backgrounds, cultures, perspectives and experiences of our employees.Job Summary:Westat is seeking an individual with customer service experience to work on a large, fast-paced research support project for the National Cancer Institute. This position responds to inquiries from the clinical research sites and other stakeholder organizations. Staff work independently and collaboratively with other project staff to provide timely and accurate response per project procedures.This is a hybrid position in our Rockville, Maryland office with normal service hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm ET.Job Responsibilities:

• Respond accurately to phone calls and emails in timeframes outlined in the project procedures.
• Provide accurate and complete documentation of inquiries and resolutions in the issue tracking system.
• Escalate inquiries as necessary to other resources and ensure clients receive timely follow up and resolutions.
• Track and monitor responses to client inquiries and problems.
• Develop and maintain familiarity with project applications, procedures, and business rules.
• Provide support for other project communication activities and review of website content.Basic Qualifications:
  • BS or BA Health or Social Science
  • Customer service experience (in the same or another field)Preferred Qualifications:
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced area.
    • Must be comfortable with using a variety of computer software including MS Office.
    • Demonstrated customer service skills.Other Required Qualifications:
      • Demonstrated communication skills.
      • Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients
      • Organization skills, including time management ability.
