Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing
comprehensive speech-language pathology services for PreK-8
students in a dynamic Maryland school setting, this position offers
an opportunity to support diverse learners across multiple
educational levels. The role is contract-based for the 2025-2026
school year with the potential for extension into Extended School
Year (ESY) services during summer 2026. Locations & Schedule:
Preschool (Community Preschool sites): itinerant services, driving
required, 5 days/week starting January 9, 2026 Elementary (Magnolia
Elementary and Prospect Mill Elementary): 5 days/week, split
between 3 and 2 days respectively, from February 16 to May 29,
2026, with ESY extension possibility Middle School (Aberdeen Middle
School): 4-5 days/week from March 16 to June 18, 2026, supervising
an SLP Assistant in service delivery Key Responsibilities: Deliver
direct speech-language pathology interventions to students aged
Preschool through 8th grade Develop, implement, and document
individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educational teams
to support communication development and ensure compliance with IEP
goals Supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
(SLP-As) Participate in district-required background checks and
credentialing processes Qualifications: Hold an active Maryland
Professional Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
Experience providing services across early childhood, elementary,
and secondary school settings Ability to manage caseloads in both
itinerant and school-based environments Strong organizational and
communication skills suitable for a multi-school schedule
Willingness to undergo fingerprinting and employment history review
